If everything looks a little weird right now that’s because it is.  The server that this website is running from crashed last week and it will be a little while before everything can be put back into the appropriate places.  The good news is the videos should still be viewable, the bad news is the site looks terrible right now.  Gotta love technology.

Update:  The site’s up and running properly, but some of the old posts are missing all of their pictures so they may look a little funny until I get a chance to go through and fix everything.

This post is several months late, but better late than never!  I’m happy to say that Tim Seley Studios was a 2011 pick for the knot best of weddings.  And not only that but I was the Editors’ pick!  Thanks to those of you that enjoyed my work and were kind enough to write positive reviews.  I’m really excited about the weddings I’ve got lined up this year and can’t wait to share some of them with everyone.  Here’s to 2012!

My Granddad Claude just celebrated his 90th birthday.  I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful family and it was great to see everybody together in one place (a rare occurrence as many of my family have moved to the east or west coasts.  Here’s a few of my favorite snaps I took of Claudefest.  As an added bonus my cousin Matt and his wife Kathleen brought their adorable daughter Avery and since my wife and I are ourselves getting ready for our first (July 30th!) I went a little baby crazy.

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve only got room for a couple more weddings in 2011.  In the event that I’m unavailable for your date feel free to contact me anyway and I’ll do my best to put in touch with some other really talented people.

Yesterday was day one of the Snowmageddon 2011 here in Kansas City. I chose not to leave the confines of my warm and comfy home. But I did take a few minutes and got some shots through the window

We just had our first big snow in Kansas City yesterday. I’ve also got some new software in my toolkit that I wanted to play around with.

I just realized after posting my last video for Rachele and Johnny that I completely neglected to mention Jeff Short. Jeff (of reclaim|creative) took time out of his busy schedule to help me shoot R and J’s wedding. I couldn’t have done it without him. Thanks Jeff. Here’s a sample of one of his most recent pieces.

One of my favorite bands came through Kansas City earlier this month. I was super excited about this show. The Autumn Film is a perfect band to see in a house setting. Their songs have depth and they’re really approachable people. If you’ve never been to a house show I highly recommend it. Anyway, the video doesn’t nearly do it justice so next time they roll through town you’ll need to see them yourself.
